Fall Fundraiser Candles - Make-a-Wish MA & RI 2025

from $20.00

Help us celebrate Make-A-Wish® Massachusetts and Rhode Island creating life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses! Our fall fundraiser is made up of six different candles and we had such a blast making them.

The candles represent the five types of wishes most commonly granted: wish to have, wish to be, wish to go, wish to meet, and wish to give back.

Each candle is dressed in the iconic artwork of Ben Jundanian, a friend and local supporter of Make-A-Wish. Ben’s drawing features the wish kids listed below in his own, unique style. The label features Miraya, Chris, Swaggy, Natalia, and Blessing. Can you identify each kiddo? You can learn more about Ben at www.benjundanian.com

$10 from each candle sold will be donated to our friends at Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island!

Wishes represented on the label:

  • Johanna’s wish to go to the Florida theme parks was granted in 2007. She returned from her wish inspired to give back to Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Johanna created handmade necklaces out of walnut shells and melted crayon, and she donated proceeds back to Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island. She has raised tens of thousands of dollars over the years to make other children’s wishes come true through sales of her Hearts of Hope necklaces!

  • During over two years of cancer treatment, Miraya began to combine her love for writing and music. After writing a rap, Miraya wished to make a music video for her original song, "Video Games." With the help of Beatbox Studios in Pawtucket, RI, and HAUS Providence, Miraya’s wish was granted. Her wish helped build her confidence and strength. Find Miraya singing on the label of the NEW Make-A-Wish candle collection.

  • You can watch the behind-the scenes, “Video Games,” and Miraya’s halftime performance during Make-A-Wish Night with the Boston Celtics at massri.wish.org/miraya

  • Blessing craved an outdoor playhouse so she could have a space of her own where she could express her creativity and hang out with friends. The artistic 10-year-old helped design her dream playhouse by drawing out her vision.

  • Natalia is a spunky and bubbly girl who loves playing and spending time outside. When thinking about her wish, Natalia, who has spinal muscular atrophy, knew she wanted to make lasting memories with her brother. Being able to spend time with him and be surrounded by her favorite characters at the Florida theme parks sounded like the perfect plan for her. Find Natalia on the candle label!

  • Mark’s many seizures each day haven’t prevented him from leading an active childhood and becoming a standout baseball player. Mark, aka Swaggy, learned about a baseball team that combined the sport and dancing (his two favorite things) and knew he wanted to join their team. The team gave Mark his very own locker, and his favorite player presented him with a custom No. 10 “Swaggy” jersey. He was even called up for an honorary at-bat, and the crowd went wild as he made his way to the field! Find Swaggy hitting a label-shattering home run on the labels of the new Make-A-Wish candle collection!

  • Chris, who has a progressive genetic condition, looks up to his favorite athlete for his charisma, positivity, kindness, and charitable work. Chris’ parents describe his mindset as one of gratitude and strength, and Chris sees similarities between the resilience both he and his favorite baseball player have and their shared ability to help others feel better. As part of his wish experience, Chris got a private meet-and-greet with his sports hero, where they were able to sit down and chat. Chris even autographed his custom trading card for the athlete to keep. Find Chris on the label of the new Make-A-Wish candle collection.
